First Lesson Free 16-Class Courses

Pricing

Every course runs as a 16-class package, which is enough time to build real skills and finish something the student is proud of. Pick 1-on-1 for a fully custom pace, or bring friends and siblings for a small group rate.

What every course includes

The price you see is the price you pay. No registration fee, no separate materials charge.

Included in every 16-class course

  • Sixteen scheduled classes with the same dedicated tutor
  • A curriculum built around the student's starting skill level and goals
  • Your choice of in-person anywhere in the greater Seattle area, or online
  • All lesson materials, project files, and practice work
  • Progress updates so families know exactly what is being covered
  • A finished project the student can show off at the end of the course
  • No registration fee and no software costs. Everything we teach uses free tools.

Scheduling and flexibility

Most families run one class per week, which puts a 16-class course at about four months. Twice a week is popular over the summer and finishes in about two months. We will work around your schedule either way.

Courses can be paused for vacations or exam weeks, and if a student outgrows a course early or wants to switch topics partway through, we will move the remaining classes over rather than making you start again.

Common questions

Is the trial lesson really free?

Yes. New students get a full first lesson at no cost and with no card on file. It is how we assess skill level and confirm the course is a good fit before anyone commits to a package.

How does small group pricing work?

Small group rates apply to groups of 2 to 4 students working at a similar level, and the price shown is per student. Bring your own group of friends, siblings, or classmates, or ask us and we will try to match your student with an existing group.

Do you offer a sibling or multi-course discount?

We do. Families enrolling more than one student, or a student continuing into a second course, get a reduced rate. Mention it in the intake form and we will include the details in our reply.

Can I buy fewer than 16 classes?

Yes. The 16-class course is our standard package and the best value, but shorter runs and individual sessions are available. Ask about per-session pricing and we will put together something that fits.

What if we need to cancel a class?

Life happens. Give us at least 24 hours notice and we will reschedule the class at no charge, with no classes lost from your package.

Not sure which course or format fits?

Start with the free trial lesson. We will assess where the student is, talk through 1-on-1 versus small group, and recommend a course before you pay anything.
